Philips ReAura Laser Treatments – Philips RéAura laser device offers in home treatment for younger and clearer skin using similar technology to a Fraxel Laser.
The Philips RéAura laser treatments can best be described as on par with the professional Fraxel Refine laser. Although no direct comparison study has been performed there are a number of reviews available that offer before and after pictures, which show that following multiple RéAura treatments similar results can be obtained.
In a UK trial, 64 women used the RéAura device, which looks like a small hairdryer, twice a week for 12 weeks and then independent dermatologists performed a before and after assessment on the participants. Women who have used the laser state that there is significant redness after a treatment and users with pigmentation from acne may see rough skin over those areas.
Treatments of twice a week for eight weeks are recommended with the RéAura laser to achieve maximum benefit. A downtime of two weeks is suggested to keep the skin from becoming to sensitive prior to resuming treatments.
