Princess Kates Penguin – Princess Kate or Duchess Catherine and Prince William have adopted a Humboldt baby penguin at the London Zoo pictures.
Duchess Catherine and Prince William adopted the baby penguin born on the eve of their wedding at England’s Chester Zoo in London after it was chosen for them to sponser.
Princess Kate and Prince William will not be providing hands on care for the little penguin, but the zoo hopes the royal couple will pay the baby a visit soon.
The baby penguin’s name is Acorn and it clearly does not favor the beautiful Princess, but does show a fair resemblance to some of William’s ancestors.
The Humboldt penguin is South American, chosen because it is becoming endangered due to loss of habitat and overfishing.
