Superman Comic Saves Family Home – A copy of a Superman Comic Book the first in which Superman appeared was discovered in the basement of a home by a family facing foreclosure.
Action Comic Book Number 1 was discovered as they went about the painful task of packing up a home that had been in the family since at least the 1950s.
According to co-owner of CommicConnect.com, Vince Zurzolo, the Superman Comic saved the family home just as the bank was ready to foreclose. It would seem the Action Comic Book Number 1 is worth over a quarter million dollars.
