Zombie Walk Paris 2011 – Today was the annual Zombie walk in Paris all are invited to walk the rue saint martin in the shoes of their favorite zombie or victim.
For the Paris zombie walk there are all kinds of events, zombie movies, zombie makeup artists and of course favorite zombie bands like zombie ‘Brothers Zeugma’. From the pictures we have here, there is no doubt the zombie makeup artists know how to paint death! The costumes and accessories were amazingly inventive, definitely take note of the zombie mermaid in the wheelchair. Wouldn’t want to meet her under the sea.
If we interpret correctly the annual zombie walk is a Parisian celebration of the beauty of death as opposed to the beauty of life. It’s a ‘come one come all’ zombie event, and the 2011 party is the fourth anniversary of the first walk. Don’t know how you feel, but it’s clear to us that the Paris participants could give the artists in Hollywood who do similar scary face painting techniques for the horror flicks a run for their money.
Here’s one last zombie picture of a dead man in a bowler hat with a hand hanging out of his mouth, which is simply terrifying – and perhaps our favorite for this year.
